Charlie Cornwell’s installation is an immersive space that shows the perspective of the everyday through a working class environment, in Bolton. Bolton is a town which has been subjected to decline due to government neglect. This work portrays the life of many, the details and absolute rawness that comes with living in the work town. But also, the discussion of social class, government ignorance and the places of Britain pushed to one side. Using video and photography, Charlie investigates her personal life throughout her home town. A journey of reflection and recognition of the current state of Bolton.
