My work over the final year of my time at Manchester Metropolitan University has followed largely in Artist Moving Image and Narrative film. I split my time between two main projects, both working individually on my own installation ‘Tomten’ exhibited at Modal Soda Gallery and with crews on a short film ‘ Big Ol’ Boots’.

I have over 10 years experience in the film industry, behind the camera and in front. From my upbringing in full time drama school education to graduating in filmmaking and now working with sound designing, I have started to expand my creative skills on and off collaborative sets, independent film and photography.

My interests lie in both fictional and non-fictional productions, however my passion has expanded into folklore and surreal themes.

To me film is about integrating all aspects of creative arts and producing pieces that resonate with all our human senses, visual and sonic. I continue to research how I can expand beyond mise en scene barriers in film and how we can intensify emotion even more through combining these 5 senses.
