Natasza Sorek- BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation
Natasza Sorek is a Polish illustrator currently based in Manchester. Their practice is grounded in mixed media, with a focus on ink, pencils, crayons, risograph and mark making. Their use of bright colours and fine details is prominent throughout their work, and allows them to approach a variety of contexts, from illustrating publications to producing animations. They are often inspired by nature and the world around them, with their queer and Polish identity informing deeper context within their work. This is an important part of their artistic process, as Natasza’s aim is to spread joy through their work impacting all age groups, children and adults alike.
