A Wolf In Girls Clothing

I am an MA Games Art student with interest in horror. I love to explore how creatures and characters can communicate identity and narrative through visual design.

I have always been drawn to horror as it’s so thematically rich. My work often explores the contrast between beauty and monstrosity, with a specific interest in feminine horror and how femininity can be represented without taking away from a creature’s threatening qualities.

My practice focuses on 3D character and creature sculpting, supported by concept development and research. I love the sculpting process and developing a creature from an initial idea into a fully realised 3D character.

My current project explores acceptance and denial through two contrasting female werewolves, treating the werewolf as a symbol of identity and showing how psychological states can be communicated through physical form.
